my uncle used to use them to...

Clip to ScrapBook
sound proof his room, because he said could not stand all the noise coming from the living room, when his kids, and grandkids lived there. He had egg cartons stapled to his room on the walls...he also padded it with styrofoam
to help with the sound proofing. I am not sure which kind of egg carton he used the paper, or styrofoam. It did look odd, when he showed it to me and my dad one day when we were visiting him. Oh, he also said that was his "practice room"...he played the saxophone, and was learning the piano. We actually took lessons from the same piano teacher, I took them from the age of 8-13...he
started taking lessons from the age of 53-56...just goes to show...you're never too old to learn. He said his kids couldn't stand for him to practice while they were watching tv, so he created his own remedy.
