Several teachers at our school have done this. Just be sure to use VERY good adhesive so they don't come loose. Also, they scratch easily and are difficult to erase on. For some reason, it seems the oils in the markers adhere to the board. Use a white board eraser only, and it will keep it cleaner and not scratch it. Also, I only use white board cleaner on the one in my classroom. Otherwise, they work... and are much cheaper.. under 15.00 at Home Depot/Lowes...
