I only let mine go where ever they choose when it's independent reading time. They even sit under their desks sometimes! I don't mind - but I don't find it works with doing regular classwork. I don't allow mine to stand, because it's too distracting for others. I tend to change up my teaching some (me talking, them working, group work, etc...) so they don't get bored easily. They can handle sitting for the short amounts of time needed.
