rules
By Christine

Clip to ScrapBook
I only have two "rules"
1. Be kind to yourself and others
2. Allow others to work and learn

I brainstorm with the children what these rules look like and sound like in a t-chart. Therefore they know what is not
appropriate.

I also have expectations for students. Try your best" and "Be respectful" are a few but then I have the children brainstorm what their expectations of me for the year are.

Always post brainstorming lists and tcharts... you can type them up and laminate them. YOu can then pont to them when needed(or go back when they all need reminding).

My only advise is have the

children help you with this. It is important for them to feel apart of making the rules (and consequences). They will appreciate it and it will be more like a community.

Good luck
