fairy tales

We start the year studying nursery rhymes and fairy tales. We begin with the study of 3 three little pigs, 3 bears and all the variations on those stories; the true story of the 3 pigs, lon pon, etc. we do ven diagrams, create diagrams of our favorite scenes from a fairy tale. We talk about the elements of a story, character, plot, conclusion, problem, we talk about good characters, evil characters, magic, I went to atoz##### and typed in fairy tales and there were several great lessons. hope this helps
