Working with words

Use the 4-blocks Working with Words book for your specific grade level. It goes month by month with the activities fully explained. You do have to make up the words and activities ahead of time, preferably on computer and index cards. It gets the kids to *use* the word wall as a resource in the room. Also, just simply (and consisently) hold the kids accountable for using words that are on the word wall in their writing all year after posted.
