rooms
By Jalon

Clip to ScrapBook
We are fortunate in that everything is pulled out of our rooms, then they are cleaned, waxed, painted. We are to leave a drawing on the whiteboard as to how everything is to be arranged when they (custodial staff) move it
back.

I would like to stencil quotes on my wall. The school where I recently taught for a half-year is doing that over the summer...you choose the quote (positive, motivating, whatever) and put blue painter tape in the area where you want it, then maintenance/custodial staff will come in and stencil the quotes on the wall.

Going into my first full year, I'll be happy
to just have an organized room ready to go, but by my 2nd year I'll probably have better ideas on how I'd like things to look or whatever. This year I'm focusing on my curriculum notebooks and teaching materials.
