Meeting with parents
By DianaB

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm apprehensive when I meet parents too, but I've found that it's the best way to clear up any misunderstandings. Be professional. Find out ahead of time what the major issues are, and be prepared to defend yourself if needed. Accept blame if blame is deserved, but state your reasons for giving the assignments and then let it go. As for getting bad marks on tests, tell the child it would help him if he studied a little more if he has difficulty.
