Flowers for the first day are a real welcome. I gave mine a document called FAQ for Student Teachers which gave them insight into our school and our class. I would be glad to share a copy of this with you. I sent to them before they came a letter from each student in the class. The letters were not edited or corrected and had a digital photo attached to the corner. Students were given an outline to help them create a more interesting letter. You may not have time for an activity like this the first weeks of school. Have you noticed how l-o-n-g it takes them to complete every assignment at the beginning of the year? I hope you have a wonderful experience.
