When I taught elementary art with 800 students per week, you can imagine the colored pencils we went through. Berol makes a colored pencil sharpener now, hand-held. I ended up just teaching my students to sharpen their own pencils and even put a large cup on each table to use as a mini trashcan. Then have a student at that table go dump it out when the project is over.
