here are the songs i used for our (6th grade) slide show:

*goo goo dolls "better days"
*jack johnson "upside down" from curious george soundtrack--this was our theme song for our Ceremony
*was going to use
bo bice's "the real thing", but didn't need it because it would have made the show too long
*green day "when september comes"
*coldplay "talk"
*all american rejects "move along"

there might have been one more, but it's not coming to me at the moment--good luck! (it's hard to find music with the appropriate message that is APPROPRIATE!) :)

next year i'll

be working on our slideshow throughout the year so i don't have that rush in june and the frantic look for music and the organizing of pictures. each month i'll download all the pictures (this will help keep my teaching partner on the ball with taking them!) and as i hear a song that's popular and appropriate, i'll check it out from the library (so i won't have to buy the albums, like last year and this year--duh!) and slip it into the slideshow. also, this way, i'll be able to use the last minute pictures of field trips and field day and not feel worried about having enough time.
