Going rate

the going rate for tutoring around here is $25 an hour. I have seen some prior posts saying it's higher in other parts of the country. I'm in Texas. But don't feel funny taking the money! You deserve to be paid for your time, especially this time of the year. You might give the parent a price break as a professional courtesy, but unless it is your best friend, ask some kind of fee.
