daily count

Clip to ScrapBook
This doesn't really fall into your theme, but we use the cut out shapes as the first post mentioned. I use a different shape for each season-- i happened to use suns-summer, leaves-fall, snowmen-winter, rabbits-spring. Each day we talked about the number and wrote it on the shape, every 10th day was orange to help us with our counting by 10's, you could even do something for every 5th day if you wanted to work with 5's. I posted these quite high up-- probably 7-10 feet in a wavy line around the room. It was neat to watch the days go.
