1st Or 4th?

I just interviewed (for my first teaching position) at a school in which there are two vacancies: a 1st and a 4th grade position. I was asked which position I would want if I were hired. Of course, I said that I would enjoy the challenges of either grade and then left it in the hands of the administrators. But I was just wondering which of these two grades some of you prefer.
