There are no specific grade level equivalencies tied to the FCAT scores. If a student scores level 3 he is considered to be at grade level. If he scores level 4-5 his scores were above grade level and level 1 or 2 is below grade level.

The parent report says something like this- Your child scored a four on the reading portion of the FCAT. Her scores are better than that of a typical 4th grader.....
