Every year, all the teachers line-up outside and the students walk between us as we give them high-fives or hugs. Then, once they're all loaded on the buses, we all wave as the buses honk and go through our circle drive about 3 times. The funniest, though, is that the 6th graders always have an end of the year party after school and they go home on their own special bus...the "prison" bus (like the ones that are used for bachelor parties). The party is sponsored by the parents and it's pretty funny to see all those 6th graders waving good-bye from the prison bus. We always joke about which 6th graders are getting early practice for prison. :-)
