letter
By Brooke S.

Clip to ScrapBook
I team teach, except we are all in the same room and share our students and the subjects. (in other words we both teach everything and all students- just on different days) This year my teaching partner and I shared math
and reading with the team taught class across the hall. (we divided based on ability for reading/math) We wanted the parents to see us all as the child's teacher. We wrote a letter about how excited we were to have the children in class and what a great experience if would be having more than one teacher. Then at our parent orientation meeting we went into more detail. I have done several
programs and new ideas at my school. The key to making it go over well with the parents is to show confidence in what you are doing. If you are confident they will be too.
