Math Problems
By Helen

Clip to ScrapBook
I post this site often but I really believe in it and use it myself daily.
Go to www.learnnc.org
Then to Instructional Recources, Mathematics, Problem Solving Sets (Gr.1-2)

Also while you are in there...go to Strategies for math Instruction and look under Grade 1.

While in the site also check out K-2 Assessment and you will see some good testing ideas.

Also, online somewhere last year I purchased a book (gr 1) that had a box at the tope of each page for the child to draw the problem..There was a simply stated problem and there was a place for them to write their answer. The book is at school and the title/company etc. escapes me. If you would like me to send you that info..e-mail me and I will try to respond from school tomorrow.
