That we get paid so little. I always said, that if you think I do this for the money than you are certainly wrong.

When I started, I taught in a Catholic school so my salary was only 18,600. Once I move to public school it went up to the mid 30's but my years in Catholic school did not count so I was an experienced teacher on step one.

I will leave you with my favorite quote my John F. Kennedy: "Modern cynics and skeptics...see no harm in paying those to whome they entrust the minds of their children a smaller wage then is paid to those to whom they entrust the care of their plumbing."
