Thanks for the ideas

No, definitely not an overnight thing for me :eek:

Our school is K to 4 about 160 students. Our hamlet is only about 800 people so we are a smaller community. Literacy is the focus for our school division for the next 3 years so this was why we thought we would look into having some type of Literacy night.

I like the ideas of having other activities as well - I can see how that would help bridge together literacy and fun especially for some of our parents who may not read much themselves.

I'd love any more ideas anyone has.
