I wrote something like "Have a ball this summer".

I would recommend leaving the balls uninflated. We sat a ball at each desk and then rotated around to sign each ball. I would give them enough time to sign and then give some kind of signal for them to each rotate one spot until everyone is back to their own ball. This worked well for us. Good luck! :)
