What worked, what didn't
By iPeach

Clip to ScrapBook
Worked (pretty well) -Having a homework calender made up for the month. They kept it inside their homework folder. Each night a parent would sign or initial. This way the parents always knew what was coming home and could plan accordingly. Having only ONE helper per day for everything instead of having 8 or 9 kids do 8 or 9 different jobs.

Did not work: Allowing kids to drink from water bottles! OK, we all need water but this got way out of hand and was a time-waster. Any ideas on water bottles? I'd love to say, NO!-next year.
