I am planning to give my class personal photo albums. I managed to get a bulkprice on mini albums from the local camera store and I am gradually getting photos of each child at school. I took heaps on Under 8s day adn Grandparents
Day etc. but also some during class time I've taken some at lunch with groups of friends, with their parents as they get dropped at class, working at their desks, with consrtructions they've made, giving their presentations. I'm also getting them to do small pictures, paintings and story writing to include. It's time consuming but they are such a delightful class I want to do something

special for them - and for the parents who have been so helpful. I'd like to put in some kind of personal award/letter as well.
I've been able to use class money to pay for most of the photos as I have put them in a large photo album for now with captions and it goes on the reading shelf. At Christmas I'll take it apart and sort them out.

Other years I've done laminated paintings as place mats. One year someone donated a stack of wooden boards that were perfect . We glued on art work and sprayed with that sealer stuff.

Another teacher takes individual photos of kids and glues them inside a large wooden curtain ring with ribbon tied on top.
