I am a classroom ESL teacher in my school. We are notrequired to do any extra testing of ESL students other than a once a year state test. One thing that we use in my school is the STAR reading test. I think it goes along with accelerated reader. It gives a grade equivalency. That wouldbesomething that you could do to check reading. Also, could you do fluency test on the students to test their reading amd chart their progress. I don't know if you are wanting something other than reading, but this is all I could come up with.
