I've had shingles before as well...
By REB

Clip to ScrapBook
I had them when I was 19. No one else in my family had ever had them and at the time I was a college student, it was in February, so it was still cool outside. I was told by my doctor, who prescribed Zovirax (a little
tiny cream tube, to put on the area every so many hours, with Q-tips), that I should not wear tight clothing, change detergents to allergen free detergents to clean my clothes in, and try to find a way to relieve stress, other than letting it "get to me". I had to wear loose fitting clothing, and they itched SO BAD, I just cried. All my stress at the time was from the guy I was dating
though....so I dumped him...and two weeks later shingles were gone.
(Not joking either.)

Best decision I ever made...lol.:)

P.S. I haven't had anymore outbreaks since then, but I have heard it is not uncommon to have another outbreak at some point in my life(I asked my doctor).
