I had shingles 10 years ago. I had to take off the whole month of February because of it. It was one of the most painful thing that i had ever gone through. I had to walk around the house naked because i could not even have a nylon nightgown on. I spent most of my time in the tub soaking. I definitely would not expose the other children to your shingles for they can definitely get the chicken pox from you. My daughter ended up gettin the chicken pox from me. I started out with a rash then it developed into something that looked like boils. I don't think it is fair to expose the other children, plus your fellow teacher.
