Center ideas
By Tara

Clip to ScrapBook
I took a class last year on how to create literacy center in the classroom for the primary grades. They had some great ideas for centers and management. Some of the ideas that I can think of off the top of my head are read the room, poetry, word scramble, books on tape (listening), computer etc. I could go into more deal if you are interested just drop me a line via email. As far a managment they showed us examples of rotary charts some were pocket charts and others were velcro charts with pictures of centers. Just remember one thing if you are creating literacy centers they have to do with reading.
