Keep your head up and know that you are helping a child, and anything you do to help that child will help that child even if it might not be enough to overcome all the odds... What grade do you teach? Do your kids have eye problems? That is the only reason for not taking notes in my room: and no one has an excuse.. If the kids are older and already have poor habits, you just have to choose what it might take to get through to them... trials and errors...
