Although this idea was used at a retirement party, I think it would still work for any occasion. Someone put together a poster that had a goodbye message incorporating candy bars in the wording. For example, a Pay Day candy bar was used instead of the words.

Go to http://teachers.net/lessons/posts/1778.html to see a message written in this way, and then you and your friends can come up with your own wording. I thought this was a great way to say goodbye to a good friend and wonderful teacher.
