Sounds like my job

Don't even get me started about those video games.....and I teach first grade. Seven year-olds should not be playing Grand Theft Auto.

I'm a first year teacher. It's been a crazy year, but here are some things that
have happened, mostly by the same child who I believe must be Satan himself.

I was hit, called ugly, accused of slapping him in the face and he bold-faced lied about it, have had tongues stuck out at me, had children shrug their shoulders and say they don't care when faced with punishment, had several fights......here's a good one though....

One day after school, a

child in my class hit another child while in line to walk out the door. The father of the hit child saw this and threatened to take them both out back and let them fight. Then he asked the other kid, "what, you think my kid can't fight you?" A grown man talking to a seven year old like that! And I wonder where the bad behavior comes from!
