DIBEL-ing By Jalon

We do benchmark testing 3x a year, which is when all students are DIBEL'd. The rest of the time, we DIBEL intensive students only each month, and every other month add our strategic students. The retell is usually awful, or almost repeated verbatim. Really drives home that comprehension is what needs the work. I'm often amazed at some of the high ORF scores with a retell that barely reaches 30. I also agree that the retell is hard to score.
