Tool Kits
By Marie

Clip to ScrapBook
Our PTA sells grade level "toolkits" as a school fundraisier. They ask each grade level to choose the items (supply list) to include in the toolkit. In May they send home the list with each student. Students may purchase
the kit (usually around $15-$20) for delivery in the fall. (If they choose not to purchase the toolkit, at least they have the list to buy their own supplies.)

The toolkits come before the school year begins, and we have them on the students' desks on the first day of school. Some supplies stay in the students' desks, while others are collected and passed back out, as needed, during
the school year.

For those students who haven't purchased a toolkit, the supply list is again posted with class lists before classes begin in the fall. Basic supplies are furnished for those students who are not able to bring them.

I can't remember the name of the company that makes up the toolkits, but they do a nice job! (I can check at school tomorrow!)
