Clip to ScrapBook
I've enjoyed celebrating Secretaries Day with my class. I purchase some inexpensive items for our secretary and make up a little note or verse to go with each. I would send such items as a cold iced tea, two gourmet cookies,
a single rose, scented soap, trial sized hand lotion, fresh popcorn, etc. Each hour on the hour, we send some of the class to give her the gift. One reads the note, one carries the gift, one gives her a hug/handshake/high five. Sometimes we have to include an "introducer". We go down every hour with a gift - as close as we can to "on the hour".....(I have to set a timer). That
way everyone has participated and feels part of the fun. Her last gift of the day is a giant card or poster that all the children signed. I've always had great response from our secretary, she loves it.
