Chicago Math
By Sarah

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi! I am a new teacher this year, but am familiar with Chicago Math as I used it when I student taught. Our district has also provided us with training and I just attended a very helpful conference. I am teaching third grade and one important thing they emphasized that you might want to mention in your interview is that at the younger grades it is not important that all students master each concept before moving on to the next unit. This seems odd, I know. However, they are not tested on it till 5th grade and will review throughout each grade. It is important that they are just at the developing stage. I gained some wonderful ideas and loved Chicago Math. If you would like to email me I could give you some more ideas.
