Clip to ScrapBook
I have a crier when he gets frustrated( 5th grader). I send him out of the room to compose himself in the restroom and once he's calm I help him figure out what ever is troubling him.
Have you told her that she needs to ask 3 peers before asking you.
Could you put a checklist on her desk so she knows what is expected and can cross off jobs as finishes.
Another thing to try is to offer her the class job she covets if she stops the tattling.
Do you send her back to her task when she tattles?
I'd also ask her before she tells me anything if it's a question or a tattle.
You might have tried all these things, but I hope one might help.
