Take a deep breath. You and your partner will figure some things out as you go along and probably will revise those at some point. The first grade parents should be advised of the enrichment opportunity that their children| will have. Your work will speak so highly of itself you won't have to worry about a new administrator so don't stretch your worries out that far. Our school always had the students go on the field trip with their grade level because of the funding. That may not be an issue with your school. The administrators here have the option of moving teachers into other grade levels but they try | |
to accomodate the teachers while doing what is best for the students so again I wouldn't worry about that right now. I like your concept of teaching in one large room together it is easier on the students and you don't have to shuffle belongings when they change classes, etc. Good luck in your decision. The fact that you are trying to gather as many facts as possible speaks highly of your concern and dedication.
