I'm in my fourth year, and currently hosting one. I'm sure you could do it, especially if you were asked to. I have all the respect in the world for teachers who make good co-ops. My ST is a nice girl, but has much to work on....(classroom management, pacing, questioning skills, anticipatory sets, etc). I'm trying to offer constructive criticism, but don't want to hurt her feelings. Plus, I have 4 weeks until state testing starts, and everything she does goes slowly...I'm starting to really feel the pressure build. I won't volunteer to do this again. I've found that I don't like sharing my class - it feels like I have another student added on to my load.
