salary By Kay

I started 9 years ago in Maryland and my salary was 27,000. I then moved to Kansas for my 2nd year and it dropped to 23,000. It all depends on where you live. I am now in my 9th year (B.S. +20) and I make 43,900. I am still in Kansas and they are like 46th in teaching salaries so I feel broke sometimes, but the cost of living is fairly cheap...just bought a new townhome for 130,000. I hope that helps.
