The article appeared in Education World .com. Search under Chip Wood. It is taken from his work with Responsive Classroom. It sounded really good......I find my kids so settled in the morning session but after lunch and our recess breaks.....they become hard work. I should also tell you that I'm from Australia. Our lunch break is 45 minutes long, eating 15 minutes; play 30 minutes and our recess break is 15 minutes eating;15 minutes play. I'm going to discuss the idea with my staff at this week's staff meeting!
