Sonetimes I do play music. It is usually during quiet reading time or when they are working on a project.

I find that my 5th grade girls will break into songs usually country if I don't put music on.

Classical, show tunes, country, old rock and roll are all ok. Sometimes, I will even play religious music but then I work in a Catholic School.
