I've used it with three of my four kids. We worked through the basic book (if you look through the TLC catalog you'll see a few 4-Sq. books for each age division) only. My I-hate-writing-girl took to it. It's been a year since my older two (then aged 8 and 10) did it and they still use the techniques. I've just started it with my 7 yo first grader and he's doing well with it. We skipped the picture things in the book and are starting with the rest ("My family").
It's an inexpensive and flexible program.
