Homework

I have taught first grade for 2 years and What I do is send home a sheet on Monday that tells what the homework is for the week. I do check homework daily. The homework consists of reading a book(read by themself or someone reads to them) then they have to write at least 2 sentences about the story. Math, I give about 5 problems about what they learned already. Spelling they have a list of words for the week and they get a variety of games to do for the week and then the test is on Friday.
