In front of the kids, it's Mr. or Mrs., etc. A couple of teachers with long names are Ms. T or whatever their initial is. Our superintendent is from town, went to school in my building, taught in the distrcit, was a principal| of two schools, now superintendent. In conversation, it's his first name. In writing. he usualy signs it Dr. but I have gotten some more personal notes by his first name. If I send him an e-mail, I never know what to put. I had 3 of his 4 kids. His oldest and my oldest have been penpals for years. She slept over my house and got snowed in here a few years ago. He and his wife | | are some of the few parents I call by their first names. When he signs notices or tests for his kids, he signs Dr. We have an aide who just joined us this year who is a parent. She feels funny calling us by our first names after all this time.
