Planning Time in Special Ed. (LOL) By luvteach'n

I am supposed to receive the "same amount" as the regular education teachers in my building. That is how my contract is worded. They get 30 minutes a day, plus library once a week and recess every other day. I know that doesn't sound like much AND I agree, but I would love to have it. I have 2 - 15 minute planning periods each day. When I need to test or observe a student a para has to cover my class.
