Don't take anything you can afford to duplicate once you are there. I wouldn't bring pencils or erasers. I'm sure they have plenty already, even if you have to buy them. I bet they even have stickers. As to books, your
favorites should probably go with you, others you can most likely pick up in the library as Cathy-Dee pointed out.

What I would take are favorite teacher books and things that epitomize your current culture that you can share with your English students such as photos of your neighborhood here, a flag, a copy of your favorite local newspaper, etc. Anything you would have trouble finding

there, but would be valuable in teaching cultural differences. And don't forget to take a jar of peanut butter. It was pretty hard to come by when I was visiting England!
