What should no longer be taught?

Can you think of anything that isn't necessary to teach anymore? I have an assignment for a graduate class. Normally, I frown on posting assignments here and asking for help, but I have no experience for this one. I'm supposed to analyze a curriculum and find something of lesser importance that I can support the position of no longer having it in the curriculum. I don't teach curriculum, I'm a special reading teacher. I'm not even sure what is in the curriculum, except for the reading components that I could not support dropping. Can anyone give me some ideas? I'd sure appreciate it.
