I'm in North Florida, and we do have a teacher shortage due mostly to the class-size amendment. I know my principal won't be putting job openings up for quite a while. I'd get all my paperwork settled now if I were you, so that when they do start to post jobs you're good to go. At least you know what county you'll be moving to, so check out their website and start all the paperwork. Good luck!
