grading software?

What do you guys use to compute grades? There is a program called Making the Grade (I think) installed on my computer at school but the teacher from last year has it password protected. I was trying to find something that I could on my computer at home but I don't even know where to look. I'm a first year teacher and I'm embarassed to say that I sat and did all my report cards by hand the first quarter. Help!!!
