thank you notes for Christmas gifts By Carolyn
|
|
I went to the dollar store and purchased packages of thank-you note cards. I wrote the note directly to the child who gave me the gift, not the parent. I then told the child in the note what I liked about the gift and why, and told him/her how I planned to use it. For example, I received a candle lamp from a student. I went on to tell him how much I like to light candles in the winter and that I planned to keep the candle lamp on top of my computer desk to look at while I worked at the computer. I think all notes should do reflect this personal touch.
