Rosa Parks
By bamateach

Clip to ScrapBook
I love to read anything about Rosa Parks and tell her story. She was such an extraordinary woman and my students have always been enthralled by her story. I generally retell it myself and really emphasize her being tired after a long day at work, her arrest, etc... dramatically then read stories about her life. It amazes me that even in the second grade children can understand and empathize with her story.
